Participants must be 5 years to 6 years old when the program starts.
Our youngest students will experience a variety of art materials and learn foundational art techniques: color-mixing with paint, drawing using shapes and symmetry, and sculpting & creating with clay, metal, and fibers. They will learn the basics of composition, and will be exposed to diverse art styles and the works of well-known artists. A great way to step into structured art education; each project is instructor-led with specific goals and skills set for each exciting project! Students will complete a new artwork every 1-2 weeks. All artwork will be ready to take home as a portfolio at the end of the session. Parents are not expected to stay during class time. Make For Joy Art Studio 129 E.
