Get ready for a deep dive into Ocean Life! Inspired by gentle sea creatures and oceanic settings, paint with watercolor, sculpt with clay, practice printmaking, and MORE! So much to “sea” and create this week!

Description

Stretch your skills into the world of illustration, animation, and cartooning this week. Create in styles such as Japanese Manga and American Pop-Art; use bright colors, expressive emotions, and originality in your creative cartooning projects!

Description

Make two plant-themed projects in this half-day Art Camp: a mini potted succulent or cactus plant sculpture (polymer clay), and a bright still-life painting of a vibrant potted plant (paint), learning painting and clay sculpture techniques.

General info:
Each camper’s artwork will be collected into a personal portfolio to be taken home at the end of Art Camp, on the last day.

We will take a 10-15 minute break halfway through each day, please bring your own water bottle. You’re welcome to pack a snack (mindful of nut allergies). Snacks are not provided.

No Lunch-Stay provided. If registering for both AM and PM camps, please plan to pick up your child for the lunch hour (12pm-1pm).

Please wear your "Make For Joy" Art Camp T-Shirt; if you don’t have one yet, a t-shirt will be included at camp.
