Explore the Art of Collage
Collage is an art form where materials like paper, photographs, fabric, and found objects are combined to create unique compositions. Originating in the early 20th century, collage was pioneered by artists like Picasso and Braque during the Cubist movement and became central to art movements like Surrealism and Dadaism. In this class, you’ll layer textures, blend colors, and use imagery to tell a story or express a theme. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this hands-on class offers a fun, supportive environment to explore the history and endless possibilities of collage. Join us and bring your vision to life!

Botanical Needle Felting
A needle felting class for all levels, creating a spring-inspired felted artwork (think plants and flowers!) out of soft wool fibers! Felting is the process of matting, condensing, and compressing wool fibers together. Using special barbed felting needles, tufts of wool can be layered and assembled to form soft pictures and imagery. With colorful wool “roving” you will create a 5x7” artwork to be placed in a matted 8x10 frame. Reference imagery of plants and florals will be available.Registration for this schedule starts on 01/01/2025 and ends on 03/13/2025
